HELLSTROM-BANGS JOINS SWEDISH WINNERS
A rising player in Sweden, Philip Hellstrom-Bangs, has decided to leave his hometown club Masarna and join the reigning winners of the Bauhaus Elitserien, Smederna.
After teammates Jacob Thorssell and Pontus Aspgren were forced to sit out the 2021 FIM Speedway of Nations due to injuries, Hellstrom-Bangs emerged as a surprise standout for Sweden.
Hellstrom-Bangs garnered a ton of new admirers with his all-out effort against heavy hitters like Maciej Janowski, Tai Woffinden, and Jason Doyle, and he did so in a solitary bout.
In the summer of 2019, he will be hoping to make his impact in Eskilstuna, as Smederna defends their Bauhaus Elitserien title.

Peter Jansson, who led Finland to the 2022 FIM SON Final as their manager, has been re-signed with Rospiggarna for the next season. With the Hallstavik club, he will team up with Speedway GP replacement rider Kai Huckenbeck, who is halfway through a two-year deal.
